It’s important to understand based on the new amendments to the B-BBEE Codes that took effect on 1 December 2019, bursary donations as per your skills development element on your B-BBEE Scorecard can only be donated to institution that is registered with DHET (Department of Higher Education and Training). Failing to comply with these contributions, you as the client won’t receive any recognition for your skills development element. Please ensure that these contributions go to a DHET (Department of Higher Education and Training) registered institution.
